About

My passion is permaculture. I design and create edible and ecological landscapes and operate an edible plant  nursery.

At its very essence, permaculture is about creating beautiful and abundant systems that are designed to meet all our needs while respecting the harmony of nature. Landscapes, when designed properly, can provide food, medicine, building materials, fuel, fibres, and much more.

My landscapes are designed and implemented using the following principles:
  • Sustainability – Landscapes that thrive indefinitely
  • Harmony with nature – Promoting biodiversity and creating healthy and flourishing ecosystems
  • Abundance – Landscapes that produce abundant food and many other resources
  • Resiliency – Landscapes designed so that humans can overcome and adapt to changing environments
  • Beauty – We experience nature through our senses. Let’s create a beautiful place that fosters creativity
  • Community – People are an integral part of permaculture. Systems rely on people working together and sharing resources
  • Fun – I create places where people can thrive and have fun
